These gear motors are custom made for robotic applications. The gearboxes feature all metal spur gears and extra long shafts making them easy to integrate into your design. The mounting holes are tapped for standard 2-56 threads so you don't need to worry about metric threads.
A high quality Mabuchi FF-030 motor comes standard with these gearboxes. We carry replacement motors if you need one.

You may also want to consider our 16mm Slave Shaft Kit. Just add a chain or belt drive and you can easily drive a second shaft from the motor.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Mounting a large load to the end of an unsupported shaft may damage the gearmotor!!!
We do not recommend these motorsto be used with large overhung loads. We recommend using a design that supports the end of the shaft. If it is not possible to support the end of the shaft, we recommend mounting the load as close to the face of the gearmotor as possible and cutting the shaft to length. Our 3mm bearing block provides a simple and effective way to support the shaft.
