This is a custom sized machine key measuring 1/10 x 1/8 x 5/8 long. It is undersize in one dimension so that it better fits the shafts on our 36mm gearboxes. Its length is well suited for use with our 3/4 Hex Hubs
A machine key is required to keep a keyed hub from spinning on a keyed shaft. To use simply place the key in the slot on the shaft, then slide the hub onto the shaft while aligning the slot in the hub with the key.
