This is a standard sized machine key measuring 1/8 x 1/8 x 1 long.
A machine key is required to keep a keyed hub from spinning on a keyed shaft. To use simply place the key in the slot on the shaft, then slide the hub onto the shaft while aligning the slot in the hub with the key.
